Personal Insurance Planning and Management

Course description: A survey of the myriad of personal risks facing consumers and families throughout the lifecycle. An emphasis is placed on the fundamentals of risk management. Includes a comprehensive study of insurance products.​

Consumer Economics

Course description: The course will focus on the role of consumer in the economy. Economic analysis of market and non-market consumption activities will incorporate relevant social, psychological, political, and ecological considerations.​

Personal Income Tax Management Planning

Course description: This course presents a comprehensive, clear and concise explanation of the techniques involved in personal income tax planning. At the completion of the course the student should completely understand personal income tax rules and planning strategies.​

Personal Finance Planning Course Technique (Capstone)

Course description: A system approach to financial management for individuals and families from the perspective of planner/counselor. Focuses on analytical techniques. Emphasizes identification and development of strategies for meeting client goals.​
